Twin Hearts Meditation: A Practice of Blessing and Renewal
There are moments when the world feels heavy on our shoulders. We want to help, but our own hearts feel tired, clouded, or drained. Twin Hearts Meditation is a practice created for this very need: to restore our energy while blessing the Earth.
This meditation, developed by Master Choa Kok Sui and rooted in ancient yogic teachings, works directly with the body’s energy centers. It awakens the heart chakra—the seat of emotional love and compassion—and the crown chakra—the gateway to divine love and higher consciousness. By activating these “twin hearts” together, we become clear channels for light and goodwill.
The meditation is both simple and profound. We begin by invoking for guidance and protection, then gently activating the heart and crown centers. We recite a prayer for peace—often the Prayer of St. Francis—as a way of aligning ourselves with selfless service. Then we visualize sending blessings of love and healing to the Earth. Finally, we allow waves of divine energy to pour through us, cleansing and strengthening our own system even as we offer it outward.
The beauty of Twin Hearts is that it is both service and self-care. By blessing the world, we are simultaneously purified. By channeling light, we are filled with it. The practice leaves many people feeling lighter, calmer, and deeply connected—not just to their own spirit, but to humanity as a whole.
Twin Hearts shares its essence with another practice I love: Metta, or Goodwill Meditation. Both expand the heart, both serve the world, both help us recover from despair and grief. The difference lies in their approach. Metta is devotional—it builds compassion step by step through visualization and goodwill phrases. Twin Hearts is energetic—it clears and strengthens the subtle body, anchoring us in divine love so we can transmit it more freely.
Together, they form a complete medicine: Metta warms and steadies the heart; Twin Hearts refines and amplifies the current of love flowing through us. Practicing either is powerful. Practicing both is transformative.
This course in Twin Hearts Meditation is offered freely to anyone ready to experience the healing power of blessing. Whether you come seeking inner peace, resilience in grief, or a way to contribute to a hurting world, this practice will meet you there.
Twin Hearts is not just a meditation—it is a path of renewal, a way of standing in light even when the world feels dark. It is a reminder that we are not powerless. Each of us, through a sincere heart and a willing spirit, can become a fountain of blessing.
The world is thirsty for this blessing. And so are we.
