Dancing with Time
The Music of the Spheres and the Seasons of the Self
There is a rhythm woven into everything: the turning of the Earth, the pull of the Moon, the slow arcs of the planets, the breath rising and falling in our own chests. Ancient seers called this rhythm the music of the spheres—a harmony so vast it holds galaxies, yet so intimate it shapes our daily moods and movements.
To study this music is not about prediction or personality labels. It is about learning to listen. Just as one studies music to hear its patterns more deeply, we can study the cycles of time to hear the song of our own lives. When we do, life becomes less about control or improvement and more about resonance: moving in step with the greater dance, finding joy in playing our part, and discovering that this alone lights the way for others.
This is the essence of Jyotish, the ancient Vedic study of cycles and seasons. At its heart, Jyotish is not about fate but about ecology—the ecology of time itself. It shows us how the same forces that turn the seasons of the Earth also shape the seasons of the self.
In this course, we’ll begin simply:
- Exploring the seasonal cycles that mark our days and years.
- Noticing the planetary forces and rhythms that create our inner and outer weather.
- Learning to see ourselves as participants in a larger harmonic ecosystem, not as problems to fix.
You don’t need prior knowledge. You may be curious about astrology, or simply tired of outside-in systems that demand improvement without offering joy. Here, we start from the inside out.
Like learning the notes of a song, these first lessons give you a foundation for listening to life itself. With time, you may wish to go deeper into the art of Jyotish. Or you may find that this simple way of listening is enough—that dancing with time can itself be a path of healing, meaning, and beauty.
The rhythm is already within you. The invitation is to listen.
